The Muslim Inter-Scholastic Tournament (MIST) is a fun, educational, interactive program of competitions and workshops geared towards bringing high school students together from around the U.S. to develop leadership, communication, and other creative skills, all while gaining a deeper understanding of Islam and Muslims.

MIST 2024 will be taking place on the weekend of April 19th-21st at Vanderbilt University located in downtown Nashville.

An event program will be released closer to the tournament date.

Yes, your fee helps to pay for the tournament (food, venue, badges, speakers etc.)

The MIST 2024 fee is $65. If you are in need of financial aid apply here. Or reach out via email or Instagram.

For every 10 students, 1 coach is required. For example, if your school has 36 competitors, 4 coaches are required.

You may only compete in one competition per category; thus the max number of competitions one student can compete in is 6. Check out the 2024 competition list.

Additionally in order to partake in a sport, you must also register and compete in one of the competitions from the other categories in our rulebook or addendum.

For the first day with sports and registration, we allow casual clothing. If you are competing in a sport, you can wear athletic wear. For Day 2 & 3, we require business casual/professional.
